In order to help our installers and dealers, we have introduced two new sizes of rails to the freedomRail line – a 30” and 36” rail.  These new sizes have many benefits. First, you will reduce the cuts that you need to make. Your installer can just install the smaller sections of rail that would add up to the larger cut sections.  Then, these rails can be easier to install because they are small sections. This also can be good if you are going into condos or high rise apartments because they are easier to carry up to the area you are installing.

These rails are not just cut down 40” rails, they are drilled so that the holes are even and to maximize the amount of anchors in the section.  This means that while you may not be hitting studs every other hole, you don’t have to because the section of rails has the most that it can have for the area.  These two rails are available in white and nickel.

Although you can use the new rails to cut less, you should remember not use a rail the same length as your tower. For example, don't use a 30" rail with a a stack of 30" O-Boxes. You should use a longer rail that offers stability on both sides of the stack.
