no blocking needed

While there is a slow down in multi-family projects, the reality is that SCHULTE has added substantial business this year in the multi-family market. This is because SCHULTE is better positioned than our competitors from a product standpoint and can better capitalize on market needs.  Here are a few ways we are filling the needs of these projects;

  • Our Versa-Clip hardware system is the strongest hardware available. Architects are now specifying wood or steel blocking behind walls where shelving is going to be installed and they’re insisting that suppliers run a screw through their hardware to keep shelving on the walls.
  • There is no need for blocking with our hardware. We can save the general contractor hundreds of dollars by eliminating the blocking if they’re willing to specify Versa-Clips.
  • Some architects are pushing back for the first time ever on SCHULTE dealers that submit pin-driven hardware.  They are informing dealers that they prefer using SCHULTE’s “screw in hardware” (Versa-clip) or freedomRail.
  • Our epoxy powder coating is safer and more environmentally friendly.  ClosetMaid is often specified in the multi-family market, but their PVC/vinyl coating is not acceptable because its VOC emissions are a huge negative with architects and developers. Using the two “green” pieces available on the extranet, makes it easy for you to get SCHULTE specified.

Include multi-family architects, developers and general contractors in your search for new business.  Arm yourself with the message and tools to switch specifications to SCHULTE. Remember our product specifications are listed at www.arcat.com or at www.schultestorage.com.
