Now that spring is finally arriving, it is time to clean out and to organize the garage. freedomRail Garage is a quick, easy and strong way to organize any garage and to make it a more efficient space.
There are some very key differences between installing freedomRail Garage as opposed to installing freedomRail inside the home, mainly due to the types of things you will be storing. In a home, your closet stores shoes, coats, shirts, and other items that don’t weigh much. In a garage, you store heavy product like oil, paint cans and car parts. Because of the additional weight, you need to install freedomRail Garage into the studs. This is easy to do in a garage application because it is typically an open wall install. Therefore you won't need to cut the rail you can just adjust it to match the studs.
The Activity Organizer product line is complimentary to freedomRail Garage. This product line can hold a wide array of items from fishing poles to skis. The basis of Activity Organizers is a grid that installs directly to the wall. The components can be attached to and lock securely into the grid, yet still be able to be moved around for versatility. In addition, all the Activity Organizers can be installed directly into the wall and never moved. In these cases, you can use our patented Strong-Loc anchor to install them directly to the wall, either into a stud or into the drywall.
Regardless of the product you decide to put into a garage, it is always best to understand what the homeowner will be using it for. Be sure they understand the weight limits of the individual items so that they do not overload them.
