Be sure to always check your delivery for shortages or signs of damage when you receive a shipment. lf you discover a problem, bring it to the driver's attention immediately.

  • Always note all damage or shortages precisely before signing your freight receipt, as well as have the driver sign his name next to the notation. shipments
  • If possible, take pictures of the damaged material.
  • Remember, the more precise your notation, the easier your claim will be to resolve!
  • As soon as possible after delivery, unpack and inspect your shipment, noting that all claims for concealed shortage or damage must be made to the carrier within 15 days of the delivery date.
  • While you wait for the carrier to process your freight claim, which may include inspection of the product, you must retain all damaged products, including packaging materials, reported on the claim.

 

SCHULTE has a standard claim form available for all our carriers, which is available on the dealer extranet . Contact your customer service representative to arrange for shipment of replacement product, if needed. Our carriers will make every effort to react efficiently to your needs.
